Second International Vortex Flow Experiment

In the first phase (2003 to 2008) of the Second International Vortex Flow Experiment investigations on a simple delta wing configuration have been carried out within the framework of an RTO Task Group. New and detailed wind tunnel measurements have been performed in order to check the present-day CFD codes for proper simulation of vortical flows. Based on the results of the first phase, the experimental and the numerical investigations are continued in a second open phase, which is outlined and managed in the present project.
