Department Experimental Methods (EV)

The development of optical and acoustical measurement techniques relies on the design and production of hard- and software, which may be useful also for other applications.

 

Hardware

  • High-speed video stroboscope (licensed to Hensel-Visit, LaVision and J. Renschke)
  • High-power LED Illuminator (licensed to HARDsoft)
  • Scheimpflug mounts
  • Mobile system for optical measurent techniques
  • Mobile system for acoustical measurement techniques

Software

  • PIV-Software (licensed to PivTec)
  • ToPas (for PSP data acquisition and evaluation) 
  • SemCollect (for automated data acquisition in wind tunnels)
