View of the two motors and the gear boxes
The driving unit consists of two electrical engines and a two stage gearbox system. The turning direction and the speed of each motor can be independently chosen. Dependent on the application the power of the two engines is transmitted onto two coaxial shafts or on one shaft using a simple coupling mechanism in the second gearbox stage. The maximum power output of each engine is 5 MW at 2.000 rpm. If both engines are coupled, a maximum driving power of 10 MW can be obtained. The maximum speed of the compressor can be as high as 20.00 rpm. The piping system can be configured in three ways
