Data protection regulations
DLR takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. DLR undertakes to protect the privacy of all persons who use the DLR websites, and treats any personal data provided as confidential. The DLR will handle your data with complete confidentiality, and will not pass this on to third parties.
Use of Data
Your web browser may transfer information about your computer to our server, such as your IP address, without your knowledge. This information will never be associated directly with you, but may be used anonymously to gather statistics for the purpose of system administration, or to improve the performance of the DLR web portal.
This website uses etracker technology (www.etracker.com) to collect data on visitor behavior. The data is collected anonymously for use in marketing and optimization. All visitor data is saved using an anonymous user ID and can be used to aggregate a usage profile. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the visitor’s local browser cache. It is possible to use these cookies to recognize a visitor’s browser. The data collected by the etracker technology will not be used to determine the personal identity of a website visitor, and will not be compiled with personal data relating to the person referred to by the pseudonym, unless agreed to separately by the person concerned. The collection and storage of data may be revoked at any time with respect to future services.
Social Media 1: Sharing
The protection of your personal data is very important to us. For this reason, the DLR blog portals do not offer the option to share using the official 'share' buttons on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter, which automatically forward data on to US companies when the page is loading. We do, however, use the 'share' buttons on Shariff. Data is only sent via Shariff if you actively click on 'share'. Specific information is then displayed regarding data processing and data protection for respective social media platforms.
The social networking site, facebook.com, of the Facebook Inc., registered at 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") only collects data if you agree to it, and if you click on 'share'. Should you not wish for your data to be processed, then simply do not click on the symbol. To share, click on the ‘Facebook’ logo at the side, or on a blue square with a white 'f'.
Once you click the Facebook button, your browser creates a direct link with Facebook's servers. Provided you follow the links whilst visiting our website, and are logged in to your personal Facebook user account, information regarding your visit to our website will be passed on to Facebook. Facebook can order and arrange your visit to our website on your profile. This information is sent to Facebook, where it will be stored. In order to prevent this from happening, you must log out of your Facebook account before clicking on the link. Even if you are not a Facebook user, it is still possible for Facebook to obtain and store your IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymous IP address is stored in Germany.
For the purpose and scope of data collection and further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as the relevant rights and ways to protect the privacy of users, you can refer to the privacy policies of Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
Twitter Inc., registered at 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA can be recognised by either the term ‘Twitter’ or by a white bird on a blue background. Twitter can only collect data if you click on the symbol. Should you not wish for your data to be processed, then simply do not click on the Twitter button.
If the button is clicked, however, it is possible to share a post or page from this site on Twitter, or to follow the host on Twitter. In so doing, your browser will create a direct link with Twitter's server. DLR has no influence over the amount of data that Twitter collects. Therefore, we would like to inform you that: According to Twitter, only your IP address and the URL of the website you were using are collected, and this information is only used to show that the button was clicked.
For more information, refer to the privacy statement of Twitter at http://twitter.com/privacy.
The social network, Google Plus, is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google"). If you click on the button that says ‘Google+’, or on a red square button with a white 'g+', then Google is able to collect your personal data. Should you not wish for your data to be processed, then simply do not click on the symbol.
If the button is clicked, your browser will create a direct link with Google's servers. DLR has, therefore, no influence over the amount of data that Google collects. According to Google, no personal information is collected without clicking on the button. Such data, including the IP address, is only collected and processed for users that are logged in to their accounts.
For the purpose and scope of the data collection and further processing and use of data by Google, as well as the relevant rights and ways to protect the privacy of users, you can refer to the Google privacy policies concerning the ‘+1’ button at:http://www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.html and the FAQ section at:http://www.google.com/intl/de/+1/button/.
Social Media 2: Widgets
DLR uses the buttons of the Twitter service. These buttons are offered through Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. They are recognisable by terms such as ‘Twitter’ or by a white bird on a blue background. This button will, however, only be activated once you have clicked on the symbol. Should you, therefore, not wish for your data to be processed, then simply do not click on the symbol. If the symbol is clicked again, however, it is possible to share a post or page from this site on Twitter, or to follow the host on Twitter.
If you visit a page on DLR's web portal that contains such a button, and click on it, then your browser creates a direct link with Twitter's servers. The content of the Twitter buttons is sent by Twitter directly to your browser. Therefore, DLR has no influence over the amount of data that Twitter collects using this plug-in. Therefore, we would like to inform you that: according to Twitter, only your IP address and the URL of the website you were using are collected, and this information is only used to show that the button was clicked. For more information, refer to the privacy statement of Twitter at:http://twitter.com/privacy.
Our web portal uses the Flickr social network flickr button, which is operated by c/o Yahoo! Inc., 701 First Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089, USA. The Flickr button is identifiable by a blue and magenta-coloured spot on a grey background. This button will, however, only be activated once you have clicked on it. Should you not wish for your data to be processed, then simply do not click on the symbol.
If the button is clicked, however, your browser will create a direct link with Yahoo's servers. The content of the Flickr button is sent by Yahoo directly to your browser and embedded in the website. Therefore, DLR has no influence over the amount of data that Yahoo collects using the button. According to Yahoo, no personal information is collected without clicking on the button. Such data, including the IP address, is only collected and processed for users that are logged in to their accounts. For the purpose and scope of the data collection and further processing and use of data by Yahoo, as well as the relevant rights and ways to protect the privacy of users, you can refer to the Yahoo privacy policies concerning the Flickr button:http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/de/yahoo/.
If you are a Flickr member and do not want Yahoo to collect information about you via our website and link it to your member data already stored by Yahoo, please log out of Flickr/Yahoo before visiting our website.
