We asked him how events such as ILA benefit research institutions like DLR, the scientific and industrial sectors in general, and to tell us something about what will come out of ILA with regard to scientific policy and cooperation.

Furthermore, he told us about the agreement between DLR and NASA regarding cooperation in aeronautics research, what is expected to come from it and what expertise each of the partners will contribute.

When asked about what, for him, is the highlight of this year's Berlin Airshow, he refuses to choose just one: "As DLR's Chief of the Executive Board, I'm fascinated by every single one of our projects," he says.
