Systems analysis

The work on systems analysis at DLR includes the following topics:

  • Technical and economical analysis for applications of systems or assessment of ongoing research on single technologies
  • Scenarios of future energy supply
  • Market deployment strategies for new energy and propulsion technologies
  • Conceptual work on the classification and evaluation of technologies with regard to sustainability

The results include both scientifically-based decision support and recommendations for action for both energy policy and the private sector. Also, the results include recommendations for the strategic orientation of national research programmes.
