On 12 November, a probe will land on a comet for the first time. After a 10-year flight, the Philae lander will separate from the Rosetta mother craft and descend to the surface of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. A live feed from DLR’s Lander Control Center will be shown in the Forum of the Federal Art and Exhibition Hall. Spaceflight experts will also explain the background to the mission.

After 166 days on board the International Space Station, German ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst returns to Earth in November from his 'Blue Dot' mission. At the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany, he will report on his experiences - a unique opportunity for spaceflight enthusiasts to celebrate the return of Alexander Gerst in the setting of the 'Outer Space' exhibition.

DLR hosts the 36th International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment (ISRSE), May 11-15, 2015 in Berlin, Germany. ISRSE will provide an outstanding opportunity to learn about major Earth Observation programmes and their results. The Symposium will include plenary and thematic sessions on issues of interest to decision-makers in the public and private sectors.
