Redshift of spectral lines in the optical spectrum

The illustration shows the redshift of the spectral lines of a far-away super galaxy cluster (BAS11). Compared to those of the Sun (left), the spectral lines of the galaxy cluster (right) are shifted upwards, or into the red.
