At the Lunar Base Symposium held on 12 and 13 May 2009 in Kaiserslautern, scientists and engineers from space-travel related disciplines as well as civil engineers, process engineers and architects discussed how a habitable station on the Moon might look.
This is how the architect Vera Martinez from the Technical University of Darmstadt envisages a possible Moon base.
