The test team after the successful first flight with two active sidesticks: in the course of several tests with the research helicopter FHS (Flying Helicopter Simulator), DLR in Braunschweig replaced the conventional control system with two active sidesticks for the first time ever. A sidestick is similar to a joystick and replaces the conventional control system of an aircraft.
