Röhle started work at DLR as a scientist in 2001. Today, he heads the Turbine Department of the DLR Institute of Propulsion Technology in Göttingen.
The picture shows Prof. Ingo Röhle (left) and a member of staff of the DLR Institute of Propulsion Technology beside the 'Straight Cascade Tunnel' (Windkanal für Ebene Gitter Göttingen; EGG) at Göttingen. The EGG is a versatile test facility, which is used exclusively for research on turbines. DLR scientists investigate the aerodynamics and thermodynamics of turbines in the EGG.
