This graphic shows clearly how worldwide air traffic looks set to remain on a downward course until at least the end of June 2009. This downturn will primarily affect North America and Europe. In contrast, air traffic in the Middle East will continue to thrive and prosper. These are the core messages from the Global Aviation Monitor (GAM), produced for the first time by the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt; DLR).
