As part of the opening events, the general director for scientific research and technological development from the Ministry for Higher Education and Scientific Research in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Professor Hafid Aourag (front right), signed the mandate for a feasibility study for a solar thermal power plant in Algeria.
