View of the heliostat field from the tower: 2,150 movable mirrors (heliostats) with a total area of almost 18,000 square metres are arranged over an area of around eight hectares. They follow the path of the sun and concentrate the solar radiation on a receiver that is around 22 square metres in size, installed at the top of a 60-metre tower.
