This global digital map of Rhea was created using data taken during recent Cassini and older Voyager spacecraft flybys.
The map is an equidistant projection and has a scale of 417 metres per pixel at the equator in the full-sized version. The mean radius of Rhea used for projection of this map is 764.1 kilometres. The newest data were used to improve coverage north of the equator between about 250°W and 300°W.
Six Voyager images fill gaps in Cassini's coverage of Rhea's North Pole.
The scale at the lower right is valid for distances at Rhea's equator. The poles that are single points in reality are projected as lines that form the upper and lower limit of the image map.
