Before each measuring flight, Bernadett Weinzierl from the German Aerospace Center's (DLR) Institute of Atmospheric Physics fine-tunes the measuring equipment. The scientist has managed to collect about ten gigabytes of data during her flights through the volcanic cloud layer on board the Falcon.
