Most of the people who took part in this motion sickness study reacted to the stressful situation of weightlessness with symptoms of nausea and perspiration. On each of the 31 parabolic flights performed by the Airbus A300, near-weightless conditions occur inside the aircraft for periods lasting approximately 22 seconds.
