Flying for research in Japan: the crew in front of the Falcon D-CMET

During the measurement campaign, 14 scientists and engineers as well as aircrew personnel of the DLR Institute for Atmospheric Physics and the Oberpfaffenhofen flight facility were based in Japan for six weeks. It was the largest flight campaign to be organised by the institute in several years.

The crew standing in front of the Falcon (from left to right, starting with the second person from the left): Andrea Hausold, Stefan Grillenbeck, Florian Harnisch, Simon Lang, Axel Amediek, Martin Weissmann, Michael Grossrubatscher, Martin Wirth and Reinhold Busen.
