Energy generated from concentrated solar radiation is expected to account for an increasingly large part of our energy mix in the future. In September 2009, the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt; DLR) will host the SolarPACES conference, the world's foremost scientific forum dedicated to concentrating solar power plants. The objective is to advance the development and marketing of solar thermal power plants.
