This is the first detailed global image taken during a fly-by of Titan by the VIMS spectrometer on 26 October 2004. VIMS is able to peek under the thick clouds covering Titan and reveals a varied landscape.
The smaller cut-out image shows the expected landing site for the Huygens probe.
