7th International Symposium on Launcher Technologies in a DLR / CNES partnership
The 7th International Symposium on Launcher Technologies will take place between 2 and 5 April 2007 in Barcelona, Spain. For the second time, it is jointly organised by CNES (French Space Agency), DLR (German Aerospace Center) and ONERA (Office National d'Études et de Recherches Aérospatiales). Joint organisers this year are the Spanish partners: GTD Information Systems, BAIE and CTAE, as well as the city of Barcelona.
To open new ways to space and to discuss concepts, technologies, missions and breakthroughs, DLR and CNES are pleased to invite you to share your ideas at the symposium.
The purpose of this 7th edition of the Launcher Technologies Symposium is to complement ongoing studies on future space transportation systems (NGL, FLPP). Emphasis will be put on possible new applications of space activities and associated space transportation missions, as well as technological breakthroughs that could add new scenarios to those presently considered.
The symposium shall inspire international experts to propose long term space transportation evolution scenarios, foresee missions evolution (institutional & commercial), identify the most promising fields and potential breakthroughs, present knowledge evolution in the frame of recent studies, contribute to interdisciplinary exchanges and research-industry talks and to promote activities at the international level.
The international community will receive an overview on world-wide research activities.
