Responsible for Security Research at DLR: Dr Dennis Göge
Effective 1 May 2010, Dr. Dennis Göge (35) has been appointed Program Coordinator Defence & Security Research of the German Aerospace Centre (DLR).
As Program Coordinator Dr. Göge is responsible for DLR’s new Business Unit Defence & Security Research in which all Defence and Security (D&S) related Research and Technology (R&T) activities are planned and managed in coordination with partners from government, science and industry.
With a background in civil, mechanical and aerospace engineering he can refer to nearly ten years of experience in R&T and D&S. His last assignment was Executive Officer at the Research and Technology Agency of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. In his new position, Dr. Göge is Executive Board Representative and directly reports to the Chairman of DLR’s Executive Board Prof. Johann-Dietrich Wörner.
