ADAC

For many drivers, automated or autonomous driving has so far symbolised the mobility of the future and is often regarded as pure theory. And yet we are already further along with the current assistance systems than many people think.
The ADAC helps drivers to understand and experience the leap from assisted and semi-automated to highly and fully automated driving. We see ourselves as an interface between drivers and those involved in the test field.
The ADAC wants to make the technology of the research facility understandable and demonstrate the potential in terms of safety and performance in traffic. We are concerned with the legal framework, data protection and safety issues, the ethical aspects of automated driving, the new relationship between man and machine and road safety.
