The key goal of the Strategy Forum is to provide a platform to foster an exchange between providers and current as well as future users of remote-sensing-based geoinformation. Representatives of public authorities will be able to inform themselves about opportunities to optimise their administrative processes by using remote sensing data and about the current procedures for accessing these data.
The Strategy Forum focuses on the interests of public authorities. The growing demand for remote-sensing-based services will be illustrated, and an outlook presented on new product developments of interest to federal and regional authorities. In thematic workshops the specific requirements of public administrations can be discussed. The resulting recommendations will help to further optimise products and services so that the needs of governmental users can be better reflected in future developments.
The Strategy Forum is designed for representatives of public authorities at national and state levels. On the two preceding days, October 11 and 12, an EOC Symposium will additionally take place at the same location. Its purpose is to inform anyone interested about current DLR developments in remote sensing. More information is available here.
