The German Remote Sensing Data Center (DFD)
Das Deutsche Fernerkundungsdatenzentrum (DFD) ist mit seinen sechs Organisationseinheiten an den Standorten Oberpfaffenhofen und Neustrelitz vertreten. In Oberpfaffenhofen ist der Hauptsitz des DFD und der Sitz der Institutsleitung. Eine Forschungsgruppe ist am Lehrstuhl für Fernerkundung an der Universität Würzburg tätig.
