Set-up of DLR-receiving antennas for the TanDEM-X mission in INUVIK (North Canada) has been successfully
By means of installing a 13m parabolic antenna in the north Canadian permafrost region near UINUVIK, the German Remote Sensing Data Center (DFD) has passed a further important milestone preparing for the TanDEM-X mission, scheduled to be launched late October. In Cooperation with the Canadian Center for Remote Sensing CCRS and the Swedish Space Corporation SSC the INUVIK station will provide the basic for the topographic mapping of the polar region and arctic environmental research.
