Avionics and Electrical Systems

The team supports operation of the electric and electronic equipment of DLR aircrafts.
It is part of the LBA-approved LTB (aeronautical workshop) and EB (design organisation) and is responsible for

• maintenance and repair
• inspection and release for flight
• development of design changes

of all electric and electronic aircraft equipment.

Additional tasks are

• maintenance of all test devices used by the LTB for electric, electronic and pitot-static systems
• support of computer software used by the LTB to plan and monitor maintenance and repair activities
