What progress has been achieved in this field and how future individual mobility may affect our lives will become apparent at the 12th Stuttgart International Symposium Automotive and Engine Technology. The biggest event for automotive experts in southern Germany—organised by the Research Institute of Automotive Engineering and Vehicle Engines Stuttgart (FKFS) at the University of Stuttgart and ATZlive along with media support from the magazines ATZ and MTZ—covers every aspect, such as how further improvements to fuel economy and a reduction in emissions are possible, with more than eighty sessions. The aim of optimising the entire vehicle can only be achieved if improvements to the power train are also supported by positive contributions from body construction, including interior equipment, and the chassis.
