CWP - Controller Working Position


This prototype of an integrated Controller Working Position with A-SMGCS has been developed within the project TARMAC with the help of airport controllers. It consists out of a Traffic Situation Display, which has been combined with a Traffic Management Display.

TSD - Traffic Situation Display


This prototype of a Traffic Situation Display (previous Surveillance Display) was developed at DLR-project TARMAC in cooperation with controllers from Zurich Unique Airport as HMI (Human Machine Interface). This TSD is used for situation coverage at the airport and it supports the ground movements and control tasks.

Traffic Monitor


The German Aerospace Center designed, developed and implemented under contract of Fraport AG, the Frankfurt/Main airport operator, a system for displaying, recording and analyzing capacity related parameters. The Traffic Monitor for capacity and traffic flow is in continous operation since 2002 at the Frankfurt airport.
