Since 2003
the Institute of Flight Guidance is certified according to the quality management standard DIN EN ISO 9001.

The quality management system (QMS) of the institute ensures the implementation of a quality policy and quality objectives within the institute in accordance with the requirements of this international standard. It serves the purpose to avoid errors in all areas of service delivery  by applying appropriate corrective and preventive actions. The application of the QMS ensures that all organizational and technical processes and activities can be planned, controlled and monitored to maintain and enhance the quality of services provided.

The institute is continually improving the effectiveness of the QMS in accordance with the requirements of the international ISO standard.
