FAMOUS – Future Airport Management Operating Utility System

The main task of modern terminal management is structuring efficient, prompt and customer-oriented handling processes on the ground. The project FAMOUS focuses on the following tasks while emphasizing passenger handling.

Development of a simulation environment for modelling of ground-side airport processes with an air-side interface
Module design for the analysis of the traffic conditions on an airport
Development of a What – If – simulation environment for the forecast of traffic processes and conditions on an airport
Design and test of a module for the automatic generation of solutions when bottleneck and critical situations become evident
Development of a level of security evaluation system
