Low Cost Monitor

Since a few years, the Low Cost Carrier (LCC) market is part of the German air transport market. The Low Cost Carrier Monitor, jointly issued by ADV and DLR, informs on significant features of the Low Cost Carrier traffic and current developments in this market segment two times a year. Topics covered include e.g. the number and relative importance of Low Cost Carriers, their supply including air fares and passenger demand of Low Cost services. |

Global Aviation Monitor

The strong drop in air transport worldwide seems to have slowed down for now. The negative growth rates approached almost zero over the past few months. A postitive growth is possible by the end of 2009. This is one of the important conclusions of the new air transport study Global Aviation Monitor (GAM) performed by the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum fuer Luft- und Raumfahrt, DLR). |
