Awards Information

The EUSAR 2006 Awards Committee will recognize outstanding research works presented during the conference in three different categories:

Best Paper Award
Best Poster Award and
Best Student Paper Award.

Each author presenting a paper and/or a poster - with the corresponding publication in the EUSAR 2006 Proceedings will be considered by the Awards Committee for the Best Paper / Best Poster Award.

For the Student Paper Award the following requirements must be met for eligibility:

  • Full-time Ph.D. Student under 35 years of age
  • Paper published in the EUSAR 2006 Proceedings
  • Candidate must be registered at EUSAR 2006 and must present the paper at the conference
  • Co-authors may also be eligible if the above conditions are fulfilled
  • Indicate in the paper submission "Student Paper Competition"
  • University or Institution letterhead must be sent to the Technical Program Committee by March 15, 2006 confirming the eligibility requirements by this date.

Awards will be presented on the last day of the conference during the Closing Session.
