The location Oberpfaffenhofen is about 25 km west of Munich nearby the motorway Munich Lindau (A96). To come to DLR you have the following possibilities:

... with public transport from airport:
At the airport Munich (www.munich-airport.de) take the rapid-transit railway line S1 or S8 direction "München Hauptbahnhof". At the station Hauptbahnhof or Laim you take line S5 in direction Herrsching. You have to leave the train in Neugilching or Weßling. Then you can walk to DLR (from each of the both stations 2,5 km).

One can create a personal timetable at www.mvv-muenchen.de (residents of Munich traffic and tariff group) (Ort "München", Haltestelle "Flughafen"; to Ort "Weßling", Haltestelle "Oberpfaffenhofen, DLR").

If one is dependent on a taxi, one should drive only up to the rapid-transit rail way station Germering and take a taxi there (12 km).

... with the taxi from the airport Munich:
From the airport Munich to DLR the taxi fee amounts to approx. 90 EUR (more than one hour travel time), of the residents of Munich city center approx. 35 EUR (approx. 30 minutes).

... with the train
Take the train to "München Hauptbahnhof". There you take line S5 direction Herrsching. You have to leave the train in Neugilching oder Weßling. Then you can walk or bus to DLR (from each of the both stations 2,5 km). travel information of the course:

Motorway Munich Lindau A 96 ; Exit 32 Oberpfaffenhofen. At the traffic light of the motorwayexit turn left direction Herrsching/Oberpfaffenhofen/Wessling. After about 800 m the DLR entrance is on the left side.
