Simulations



In order to obtain a reference for the SIREV image data processing and to get a first impression of the SIREV mapping capabilities a SIREV image simulation was carried out based on X-band data from the Experimental SAR System of DLR (E-SAR). The results of this analysis are shown below. It becomes clear that the imaging quality will be substantially improved for higher frequencies if the antenna length is kept constant.
