AQUIFEREX
AquiferEx is an airborne campaign performed with the E-SAR system and the AVIS sensor of LMU-Munich in Tunisia in November, 2005. It is funded by the Data User Element (DUE) of ESA in support of the "Aquifer" TIGER initiative project. The main purpose of "AquiferEx" is the generation of a pool of high resolution polarimetric and interferometric radar as well as optical data to serve the assessment and improvement of water management possibilities in semi-arid areas (mostly in Africa) based on future high resolution remote sensing data.
