Visit to historical technical Museum at Peenemünde
The A4 rocket, which was developed in Peenemünde can be considered the prototype of all later booster rockets, both military and civil. It is the emblem of modern rocketry, whose humanitarian and utopian roots stand in stark contrast to the suffering of its victims. There are few sites where the gains and risks of technological progress are as intimately intertwined as at Peenemünde. The Peenemünde Historical Technical Museum attempts to explore and address the ambivalence of this technological development.
