The department „Institute Project Management and Institute Administration“ (KN-PA) covers the significant support functions within the Institute KN. Among them are Controlling, Logistics, Instruments Management, IT Management, Information Management, Public Relations, Literature, Safety and Health as well as Mechanics Workshop.
Besides that, the areas Quality Management and Project Management Office (PMO) are organized within KN-PA.
This department thus set the frame fort he scientific work in the Institute, discharges the scientific departments from administrative matters, and optimizes the processes in the Institute. Moreover it fosters the third party business by supporting the scientific departments in acquisition, direction, and promotion of large projects as well as the care for important customers and partners.
