Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft/PraktikantIn im Bereich des mobilen Satellitenkommunikation

DLR Institutes of Communications and Navigation is setting up a demonstrator of mobile satellite services for the automotive market, based on a recently published ESTI standard.
The candidate has to understand the system architercture and be able to setup and perform laboratory simulations and field tests. Data collected during the simulation/tests has to be analyzed to check system performance.

Tasks

Aufbau von kompletten Demonstrationssystemen (bestehend aus HF Komponenten, Antennen, Messgeräten, Modems und PCs) im Labor und im DLR-Messfahrzeug
Unterstützung bei der Planung, Organisation und Durchführung von Labor- und und Feldversuchen
Unterstützung bei der Bewertung von Messungen und Experimenten.

Qualification

Kenntnisse von Windows und Linux Client und Server Systemen
Kenntnisse von C/C++ und Matlab
Kenntnisse von Netzwerkprotokollen
Grundkenntnisse im Bereich Hochfrequenztechnik
Gute Englischkenntnisse
Spaß an selbstständiger Arbeit
Gute Teamfähigkeit
