The Institute of Air Transportation Systems is certified by LRQA (Lloyd´s Register Quality Assurance) according to the quality management standard ISO 9001 for “Research, Education and Consultancy on the fields of Air Transportation Systems”.
The Quality Management System (QMS) ensures the implementation of the quality policy and quality objectives of the institute in accordance with the requirements of this international standard. It serves the purpose to prevent deviations in all areas of service delivery with appropriate corrective and preventive actions. The application of the QMS is to ensure that all processes can be optimally planned, controlled and monitored in order to maintain and increase the quality of services. The CIP (continuous improvement process) ensures the effectiveness of the QMS.
All departments of the institute, IT management, and all other processes of the QMS were audited.
