Video: Eastern scarp of the volcano Olympus Mons (Quicktime, high resolution)


The video shows a simulated flight along the eastern scarp of the volcano Olympus Mons. It is based on image data that were recorded by the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) operated by the German Aerospace Center (DLR); the HRSC is onboard the ESA spacecraft Mars Express. The area shown in the video is located at approximately 17.5 degrees southern latitude and 230.5 degrees eastern longitude.
