By train:
from Cologne Central Station by S-Bahn line 12 (direction: Hennef/Windeck-Au(Sieg)) or S-Bahn line 13 (direction: Troisdorf) to Porz-Wahn (departure from Central Station at hh:m1, every 10 minutes) and from there by bus 162 (direction: Wahnheide DLR) to the research centre.

The busses depart from Wahn S-Bahn (bus lane B) every twenty or thirty minutes, depending on the time of day; running time about 10 minutes. The name of the bus site at the research centre is DLR. Choose the "City Ticket 1B" at the ticket machine for the whole distance Cologne Central Station - DLR.

There are no taxis available at Wahn S-Bahn!
