Approval of the DLR Noise Protection Concept for the Airport Leipzig/Halle by the Federal Administrative Court

During the process of expansion of the airport Leipzig / Halle into a cargo hub, the Federal Administrative Court gave a judgement. The Judges of the Federal Administrative Court responded to the Noise Protection Concept, fundamentally developed by the DLR, and the DLR-Study severally in the reasons of judgement. The noise protection concept was met with full approval of the Federal Administrative Court, who had a the opportunity to get a detailed picture of the Noise Protection Concept and the underlying DLR-Study on the basis of multiple scientific evaluations. A lot of prejudices, frequently brought up from different interest groups agaignst the DLR-Study and the application of its results, should be eradicated now after the reason of judgement of the Jugdes of the Federal Administrative Court.
