Studies of mechanical engineering at the RWTH-AACHEN (University), specialization in bio-medical-technology. Training for occupational health and safety.

• beside scientific studies/projects coordination of infrastructure tasks in the Institute of Aerospace Medicine
  
• supervision of the big research facilities of the Institute
  
• consulting in safety and fire protection
  
• consulting in safety of medical devices
  
• consulting DLR in questions of transport of dangerous goods
  
• assistance in the German industrial standard association and in the American SAE
  

More experience gained:

• working on international studies, 4 month at NASDA, JAPAN
  
• teaching for ten years as assistant professor in material sciences
  
• as a Member of the Society of Underwater Technology, London
