By rail

How to find us - Department of Aviation and Space Psychology

From the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), take the U1 underground in the direction of "Norderstedt Mitte" and get off at "Alsterdorf". From there, take bus 23 in the direction of "Niendorf Markt". Get off at "Heselstücken". You are now on Sportallee. Walk back down Sportallee for about 200 metres in the direction from which the bus came. The DLR building is on your left. On the website of the Hamburg Transport Association (Hamburger Verkehrs-Verbund) you can find useful information.

By car

Coming from the A7, take the exit "Schnelsen-Nord" in the direction "Flughafen"; do not take the turn towards the airport terminals but go straight on towards the maintenance base (Luftwerft) instead. Continue along Weg beim Jäger for about 1 kilometre, then turn left into Sportallee. After about 500 metres, you will find the DLR building on your left.

By air

Take the shuttle bus (the bus stop is located between Terminal 1 and 2) to the P8/P9 car park, stop "Weg beim Jäger/Sportallee". The shuttle is free of charge and it runs every 10 minutes. Walk to the Weg beim Jäger/Sportallee junction, opposite the entrance to the Lufthansa base, and turn into Sportallee. After about 500 metres, you will find the DLR building on your left.
