In the course of the biennial ELGRA (European Low Gravity Association) Symposium, SpaceLife student Oliver Schüler won the “Excellent Student Presentation Award” provided by the Japan Society of Microgravity Application (JASMA). Seven students participated in the Student’s Contest chaired by J. Medina and N. Callens. The topic of Oliver Schüler’s talk was “Alterations in the Protein Expression Pattern Induced by Different Gravitational Stimuli in Roots of Arabidopsis Thaliana”. The ELGRA Biennal Symposium and General Assembly “In the Spirit of Discovery” took place in Rome, Vatican City, Italy from September 11 to 14, 2013).
