The Institut of Optical Sensor Systems operates in Berlin Adlershof laboratories for spectral, radiometric and geometric calibration of optical sensors. The focus is on works in the infrared wavelength range. The geometric calibration is used in addition to the MTF determination of detectors without a lens, with lens and different camera systems. The radiometric and spectral calibration is used to Charaterisierung the sensitivity of the imaging sensor systems. In existing laboratory instruments can be characterized up to 100 kg (geometry to 100 kg). At Kalbrationsmethoden using Difraktiven optical elements (DOE) is currently working scientifically.
