MERTIS - Design qualified

MERTIS design qualified, ready for flight model development

Before developing the fight model MERTIS has successfully been qualified with representative models in order to withstand e.g. high mechanical load during launch with Ariane 5 as well as thermal constrains on the satellite. The flight model will be delivered 2013 to ESA, to be integrated and tested to be launched 2015.
