Structure and Thermal Model

The MERTIS Structure and Thermal Model (STM) has been delivered to ESA/Thales Alenia in September 2010.

The STM is the first model developed within the MERTIS project.

MERTIS is a low weight Infrared Imaging Spectrometer for the BepiColombo ESA mission to observe the Mercury.

It is developed by the DLR, RM-OS and PF in close cooperation with the Universität Münster, Kayser Threde GmbH and other scientific and industrial partners. For further details, see more.
