Department - ASK

Department for Sensor Concepts and Applications

The timely supply of relevant geoinformation provides an important contribution to the sustainable development and protection of modern societies. Our scientific focus is the development, implementation and verification of novel remote sensing systems and innovative strategies for an automatic processing chain of high-resolution sensor data.

Diverse research and development is performed in close cooperation with other DLR departments, as well as pilot projects run in cooperation with international partners from industry and research institutions. Selected examples are mentioned in the project list on the right-hand side.

More information about our remote sensing systems and evaluation strategies are given on the left-hand side.
